Biography

Beth Garst is a Colorado-based photographer specializing in finding intricate details and new ways of seeing. Known for her macro photography, intimate portrait style, stark landscapes, exquisite nature photography, and globetrotting travel images, Beth is both an artist and a documentarian, concerned chiefly with better understanding the world around her.

Current Project

The ongoing series, Being Visible Inside & Out, is a deeply personal project documenting changes to Beth's own self-perception throughout the stages of grief following the death of her father and other recent transformative life experiences.
